Gucci has announced its return to co-ed fashion shows, presenting both men’s and women’s collections together. The Italian luxury brand, owned by the Kering group, will adopt this format at Milan’s womenswear weeks in February 2025 for the Fall/Winter 2025-26 season and in September 2025 for Spring/Summer 2026. Additionally, a co-ed cruise collection for 2026 will debut on 15th May in Florence.
The Fall/Winter 2025-26 show will mark the start of a three-part series where Gucci will present collections aligned with Sabato De Sarno’s creative vision. The brand aims to showcase a cohesive narrative blending menswear and womenswear.
Gucci first introduced co-ed shows in 2017 under Alessandro Michele, its former creative director. After Michele’s departure, the brand temporarily shifted to separate shows, with its men’s collection returning to the runway in January 2023 and the women’s collection in February.
The decision comes as Gucci faces ongoing challenges, including a 26 per cent revenue drop in Q3 to US $ 1.79 billion. Amid its reorganisation efforts, Gucci named Stefano Cantino as CEO in October and will appoint Valérie Leberichel as communications head by year-end.
