Lilac Dreams

Millennial pink takes on a moodier mood with lilac emerging as the next big colour crush for Spring/Summer 2018. The light purple hue seemed to surpass as a commonality between colour palettes at the international showcases this season.

No longer considered a demure, dainty, romanticized colour, lilac is being treated in an edgier manner. Owing to its details and silhouettes, it is being opted for S/S’18.

To make it appealing universally, designers have come up with an option for every skin tone – ranging from light mauves to medium lavenders to bold violets.
