Designers and high fashion brands are now taking couture as an opportunity to let their creativity go loose and shout out their thoughts on issues concerning all of humanity. Chanel tapped on the travel and escapism theme to reveal a heavily embellished swimming costume with an embroidered swimming hat-cum-veil number as its final look; Schiaparelli utilized their founders fascination for astrology, nature, and the botanical world to create feminine, eccentric and sculptural pieces; and Dior let loose and brought the ‘Circus’ to town with playful, young, colorful and geometric elements that resonate with the magic of childhood…
