Tecovas, the Austin-based cowboy boot brand, is expanding into wholesale for the first time since its founding in 2015. The company announced that its products will now be available in 45 western wear stores across 11 states in the US.
In this initial rollout, Tecovas will partner with 10 retailers specialising in western wear, including National Roper Supply, Russell’s Western Wear, and Boots Etc. This move marks a significant shift for Tecovas, which has previously focused on its retail expansion. By the end of 2024, the brand plans to operate 42 standalone stores, with 11 new locations opening this year. In 2023, Tecovas achieved over US $ 200 million in revenue.
David Lafitte, Tecovas’ chief executive, stated that these partnerships will help the brand maintain its commitment to quality and authenticity while reaching a broader audience.
