It is thought that the managing director of Spanish retail behemoth Inditex has resigned, and a replacement has apparently already been identified. Inditex operates in the UK and Ireland.
According to Retail Week, Max Nutz left his position at the company after 25 years of employment.
The media site reports that Pilar Losada, the group’s current MD of Australia and New Zealand, will succeed him and take over the role this week.
It marks the conclusion of Nutz’s extensive career working with Inditex, where he began in 1999 and has held progressively higher-level roles across the globe.
Pilar has previously worked for Inditex before. Early in 2010, she was hired by the parent company of Zara, where she worked as a subsidiary control technician before progressing to several high roles, such as managing director for Central China.
Pilar has been running the Australian and New Zealand company for six years.
