White Stuff has been purchased by the Foschini Group (TFG), which also owns Hobbs, Whistles, and Phase Eight. The group affirmed that it will keep all of its coworkers throughout the company, including the fashion retailer’s senior leadership team, which is headed by CEO Jo Jenkins.
George Treves and Sean Thomas, the founders of White Stuff, will both depart the fashion retailer and stand down from the board as part of the deal.
The Hobbs owner stated that the acquisition was financed by the company’s newly refinanced financing facility and called it a “significant milestone” in its goal to bring additional brands into the group.
The organisation “will continue to invest in the White Stuff brand and online offer to drive further awareness and growth,” according to TFG CEO Justin Hampshire.
Hampshire went on, “White Stuff’s arrival to TFG London adds the first lifestyle brand to our already-strong and diversified womenswear portfolio, as well as a reputable menswear line and its devoted and tenacious clientele.”
