Dhaval Colour Chem (DCC) is the only Indian company having a very modern laboratory-cum-training-cum-showroom in India, at their Tirupur facility. It is spread over an area of 10,000 sq ft. At the recently concluded printing technology expo, FESPA, in December 2007, New Delhi, DCC displayed their technologically most advanced automatic textile screen printing machines, and ancillaries, auxiliaries and consumables, including fusing, drying and flock printing machines; inks from Rutland of USA; sublimation printing systems and Pantone matching scales. Also on display was the remarkable printing ink product range from their Indian manufacturing arm-Creative Industries, Mumbai; adapted and acclimatised to Indian working environment.
Skeptical of the Chinese threat, Dadia added, “The China-threat can be easily countered by our latest offering. All the equipments that we included at the fair were selected based on their unique functional qualities like, ease of operation, cost cutting, and higher production.”

Based on the vision he had for the printing industry, which until as recently as two years back, was way behind global standards, Mr. Dadia entered into tie-ups with international leaders to bring appropriate and relevant solutions to the textile printing industry in India. Its aggressive marketing strategy, coupled with demonstrations, shows, seminars, workshops, are matched by providing advanced training to operators designated by their customers, as part of their total solution package.
On the home front, DCC has tied up with educational institutions to offer advanced programmes on their printing machines, to maintain a healthy supply of professionals for the printing industry. With offices and branches at strategic locations all over India, DCC’s response time for services and requests for supplies are minimal and timely.

“We are investing heavily in advanced technologies and we have earned numerous patents. We are keeping technology in the forefront of innovative design and rapid product development,” says Erwin Mair, International Sales Director of M&R (USA). “The Indian market is amongst the toughest to deal with, and the customers are highly sensitive to price. It gives me immense pleasure to let you know that the efforts of DCC in making new investments in training, operator education, HR development, and also in assigning resources and energy in bringing the latest technology is paying rich dividends to the screen printing industry in India, which we deeply appreciate,” added Mair.
Scott Mon, Director Asia Pacific, Rutland Plastic Technologies Inc presented a demonstration on the usage of Rutland’s specially formulated high quality durable and recyclable inks and the M2000 ink management software developed to provide textile screen printers with the most effective, user friendly ink management tool in the industry. The software is programmed to mix more than 2000 different Pantone and Rutland colours in textile applications. Mon was also impressed by the efforts of DCC in bringing advanced technology to the doorsteps of the printing industry in India and for the general growth of the industry.
