
Various garment exporters and textile companies of Rajasthan were honoured with ‘Rajasthan Export Awards 2019’ by the State Government for their good performance.
The state’s Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot gave awards to companies during the 2-day-long MSME Conclave event ‘Resurgent Rajasthan’ at Jaipur. Overall 30 exporters were selected in various categories.
Lodha Impex was awarded for highest turnover in readymade garments while Cheer Sagar and Traditional Gallery were honoured for highest export growth.
Casual Fashions was awarded for highest export growth in womenswear category. Sudiva spinners, Bhilwara who exported Rs. 199.65 crore was also awarded.
Dinesh Goyal, MD, Traditional Gallery was also honoured with Udyog Ratan Award. Talking to Team Apparel Resources, Dinesh Goyal informed, “We have achieved 32 per cent growth compared to last year, while overall most of the other exporters are witnessing negative growth. Teamwork, dedicated focus on timely delivery and quality are our prime focus. I don’t think apart from this we are doing anything that is not being done by our fellow exporters.”
The company, which exports ladies garments to Europe and Japan, had a turnover of Rs. 60 crore in last fiscal and is expecting a 35 per cent growth in the current financial year too as so far it has good orders.
In another event, Nitin Spinners, Bhilwara was honoured for energy conservation by the State Government.
Congratulating the award winners, Aseem Singla, General Secretary, Garment Exporters Association of Rajasthan (GEAR) said, “We are proud of our members who have performed well despite challenging business scenario.”
