Samtech brought to the GTE machinery from different companies. Names such as GJN of China, showcasing its trouser reversing machine, Hace with machine making moustache marks (already published in December issue), Kingtex and Protex, were put on display.
Samtech Promotes Kingtex Machines
Samtech had brought to the GTE, Kingtex from Taiwan, which makes industrial sewing machines. The focus at the Expo was on the CT 9311 left-hand fabric trimmer machine which is a part of the CT 9000 series of high speed cylinder bed interlock machines. The machine helps in the hemming operations on tubular fabrics such as cuffs or bottoms of T-shirts. The tubular fabric can be folded downward smoothly and the sewing continues while the folded fabric is trimmed by the left hand before it is sewn. Meanwhile, fabric chips and dust can be sucked into the waste collection bag through the pipe. The machine can be used in light to medium weight fabric and has an applicable hemming width of ¾”-1” (finished size).
Another machine NT–67, which is a feed off the arm four needle six thread machine, has been launched in India for the first time. The machine is suitable for small tubular sewing operations and offers a safety protection design where the presser foot can be lifted when the needle bar reaches its highest position in order to ensure that the spreader looper would not be damaged due to accidental collision with needle clamp.
Toyou bringS Protex brand of sewing machines
Quality is the buzzword for success in today’s highly competitive global garment industry but it can be achieved only through the use of advanced technology. China based Toyou Sewing Machines Co. Ltd displayed its Protex brand of sewing machines at the GTE, particularly its special purpose machines.
The TY-4300 bar-tacker machine is one such machine which obtains attractive seams at high speeds. Another machine on display was the TY-4380 drive button stitching machine.
Both machines obtain high speeds with the world’s fastest cycle time. The clamp height of the same can be adjusted easily from the operational panel.
They combine high quality sewing with high productivity, lower power consumption, lower noise and lower vibration.
Both these machines having electronic direct drive are in reality simple machines and are targeted at both international and Indian garment manufacturers.
