STI Apparel Automation has brought in the Fucen button sewing machine series for the first time to India.
Fucen displayed four new models of its products at the GTE and got a positive response from the prospective buyers on all of them. The FC-299U 211A tack keyhole machine is a widely used model in sewing of keyholes. The machine is fitted with a forward gear pulling device instead of a clutch driver giving a high output combined with quality as even after prolonged use, the stitch length is constant and uniform. It sews up to a maximum speed of 2000 spm. In addition, there is considerable time saving due to rapid feeding of fabric during the non sewing portion of the machine cycle. The machine lays a reinforcing cord or gimp under the purl stitches for extra strength. This gives a hand made look to the buttonholes. It also offers other features such as producing buttonholes with or without taper bar and variations in the length of buttonholes.
The FC-1903 is a computer controlled high speed lock stitch button sewing machine with a maximum speed of 2700 rpm. The machine’s starting, stopping, thread trimming and automatic press lifting speeds have been increased to shorten the total cycle time. The machine is provided with 50 different sewing patterns and the needle thread grasping device helps in producing consistent knot tying at the beginning of sewing, providing excellent seam quality. The electronic thread tension controller can set and store the needle thread tension as per the sewing requirements on the operation panel and later reproduce it. Also, due to the inbuilt advanced dry head technology, the needle bar and thread take-up frame does not require lubrication.
