Lacoste launches a digital fashion store on Snapchat, collaborating with DRESSX to offer Bitmoji users the chance to dress their avatars in iconic Lacoste styles. The collection includes L.12.12 polo shirts, V-neck sweaters, bold color-block designs, and other signature looks, bringing the brand’s fashion heritage into the digital realm.
This initiative follows Lacoste’s recent ventures into digital platforms like Roblox and Zepeto earlier this year, also supported by DRESSX. These efforts reflect Lacoste’s commitment to blending its fashion-sport legacy with emerging technologies, enhancing both physical and virtual experiences. The launch was announced on the LinkedIn pages of both Lacoste and DRESSX.
The collection showcases pieces from the Fall/Winter 2024 lineup, designed by Creative Director Pelagia Kolotouros, combining contemporary style with Lacoste’s tennis-inspired aesthetics.
DRESSX collaboration aligns with Lacoste’s vision to expand its presence in the digital space, reaching a broad audience of Bitmoji users worldwide.
With over 2.7 billion Bitmoji avatars created globally, Lacoste’s move into digital fashion marks another step in its mission to be an omnichannel brand, merging physical and digital experiences to stay ahead in the evolving fashion industry.
