Luxury brand Rohit Gandhi + Rahul Khanna has unveiled ‘Nocturnum’ a new couture line that expands its men’s and women’s occasion wear collection. Inspired by celestial themes, this collection offers a blend of traditional and fusion silhouettes, perfect for the upcoming autumn festive season.
“Nocturnum is a collection of the night,” the designers stated in a press release. “We envisioned falling stars streaking across the night sky, transforming into blooms as they reach the earth. This collection captures that emotion, pushing the boundaries of haute couture with breathtaking structure. Our patterns are inspired by matadors, stars, and pixelated flowers, creating kaleidoscopic botanicals that merge the past, present, and future.”
At the heart of the collection is a specially designed star-centric pattern, symbolising the interconnectedness of the earth and the power of starlight.
The collection features a rich variety of textiles, including velvet, silk satins, and tulles, designed to play with shadow and light. Women’s pieces emphasize dramatic gowns, while the men’s collection offers traditional silhouettes with modern touches, such as longline jackets adorned with intricate cut-out designs.
