For stylish casual shirts, Wendler has developed a special metal interlining line – articles MB 1 and EB 1 – which are available in coated or non-coated versions. A metal wire is integrated into the weft of the fabric, which allows the ready-made collar to be formed individually, and flexibly giving a trendy appeal to the shirt. The HF line of temporarily fusing articles has been completed by modifying the powder point coating for a more even distribution of the coating dots thus covering the whole programme of garment-dyed and garment-washed shirts. The specific HF features include fusing and stitchability for the edge that each of them provides.
The operation is simple; the HF interlining is fused to the shirt fabric in order to make the stitching operations easier and more accurate. Then, on washing or dyeing the shirt, the coating dissolves completely and the interlining turns into a sew-in – and gives the shirt a typically casual style.
