Recently, on behalf of SCM Garments, scholarships totaling Rs. 1,00,22,500 were awarded to 4971 students enrolled in government schools, diplomas, and graduation programs.
During the scholarship distribution event, Tirupur Corporation Commissioner Pawankumar G. Kariyapavanar encouraged students to excel in their education. Reflecting on the significance of education, SCM Group Chairman TK Chandran and Managing Director K. Vinayakam emphasised, “We can acquire any wealth through education.”

“We are very keen on worker’s welfare, in this connection every year we provide the educational scholarship to the kids of our workers,” said S. Sekar, GM – HR, SCM Garments
He added, “We have a plan to extend this project to all over the Tiruppur district. In the future, we will select the top rankers in the Higher Secondary examination and provide scholarships to them.”
The event was also graced by Managing Directors K Paranjothi, KNK Nandagopal, PPK Paramasivam, and Chief Marketing Officer Arul Saravanan.
